The cube starts as a solid chunk of obsidian that is crushed and broken into multiple smaller fragments. The fragments are then put into a mold with two different epoxy mixes. The first is a translucent light purple mix. The second is a deeper opaque glowing purple mix. These two mixes are poured over the chunks of obsidian creating this awesome decorative block.
