Description: In this project I made an audio VU Meter for both channels. I used popular LM3915 integrated circuits. The scheme of the circuit which I used is in the integrated circuits manual (you can find them as LM3914 / 3915 / 3916 datasheet). If you do not want to design a PCB, you can find a hundreds of designs of VU Meters on these integrated circuits, both on 10 LED and 20LED. I didn't use them just because I needed large gaps between the LEDs and I didn't want to connect the LEDs to the PCB using wires. In my design, the resistors connected to the LEDs proved to be unnecessary. LM391X systems already have a built-in current limit for LED. I was afraid that different LED colors would illuminate Plexiglas with different intensity, which is why I used them to be able to limit the brightness of one of the colors if necessary. However, after assembly the system shone uniformly. instagram.com/mn.projects facebook.com/MN-Projects-365494087121645
