Description: For the past few weeks I've been moving the robots to the new location in the workshop so they got a little brake from youtube projects. I have few bar stool designs floating around my head so with the robots move, I decided to do some wood turning.. It was probably a year ago or so since I did my last wood turning project by hand so it took me a while to get the hang of it. Fortunately I still have all my teeth and fingers :D. I started by gluing a bunch of larch leftovers from a wooden siding project we did last summer. After layers dried up, surfaces of each piece were flattened on a jointer and again glued together to a final turning piece. after turning on a lathe, I sealed the surface with three layers of polyurethane semi gloss finish with light sanding before the last coat.
