Description: Most of the macro shooters out there are focusing on macro photography. I will attempt to do some extreme macro videos, which are a challenge from many perspectives. Using macro lenses is coming with focusing challenges, due to a very narrow depth of field. in order to have a reasonable visual attractive video, one needs the depth of field as large as possible. At magnifications factors above 1:1 , any slight vibration is very visible and most of the time distracting, which makes extreme macro video difficult. Most of the things you see here are probably below 2-5 mm in size. I have used magnifications 1x, 2.5x and 5x. I will attempt to break the 5x barrier later...perhaps for anyone passionate about macro, at this scale, insects become interesting, beautiful, no longer scary or disgusting.
