The character first appeared in Neil Gaiman’s ‘Sandman’ series before going off to gain a series by itself. The comic book series is whacky and dark and takes a bunch of different twists and turns. The TV series is a little bit lighter with a lot of witty humour and endearing storylines as well as following a more typical crime procedural format. But the differences don’t just stop there with a bunch of the characters being almost completely different to their comic book counterparts or just completely made up for the purposes of the show. In this video we will take a look at how some of the characters should have actually looked if they were to be comic book accurate as well as the characters who were just made up for the purpose of the series.
