Raj Thackeray's cousin Uddhav Thackeray is the Chief Minister of Maharashtra, leading a coalition of three parties. Raj Thackeray was earlier seen as a natural heir of Balasaheb Thackeray...but he left the Shiv Sena in 2005 after Uddhav was elevated to the top post by his uncle and set up MNS or Maharashtra Navnirman Sena.
