My dad bought land from a farmer in the middle of nowhere, about a hundred feet from a dirt road. It's miles from any development but it's easy to get there in a car, making it the perfect place for a murder. No lights, no security footage, and nobody would ever find a body out there because the tilling machines would turn it into fertilizer. My guess is that somebody kidnapped and murdered a child on the exact spot my dad built the addition. When we dug the foundation and disturbed her resting place, she came back to tell us what happened. Either that or it was just a bunch of weird house sounds...
