Description: The city of Benghazi, in eastern Libya, houses the largest numbers of families displaced due to conflict. But when hostilities ended in 2017, there’s been a steady return of people, eager to return home and displacement numbers falling. Al Sabri - one of the oldest and most populated areas of Benghazi - was heavily shelled more than five years ago, forcing most of the population to flee. UNHCR, through partner NRC has been rehabilitating homes and shelter units to help people return as well as renovating essential public services through Quick Impact projects.
