Description: Hi, and welcome back to my channel if you've been here before, or welcome if you're new! In this video, I open up about one of the strange things that happened to me in the cult of nithyananda: being stripped of my sense of self and having a completely different personality imposed on me from the fraud leader. When I was there, I missed being me the way one might miss a loved one, and it's been a journey to find myself again. Whether you've ever been in a similar highly controlling group or not, I'm sure we've all been forced, at some point in time, to act a certain way or pretend to be someone we're not. That can be stifling to say the least. It's taken me over two years of deprogramming to finally forgive myself for having been conned, and to finally embrace my life's passions once again: non-religious spirituality in general, the starseed and lightworker phenomenon more specifically, and reading Tarot and Oracle cards as a personal practice.
