The Mob Reporter here with news of a a bizarre find that left a gangster red-faced and on the run and cops marvelling at the easiest jackpot they may ever get. The find was made in a residential neighborhood in Sydney, Australia. Police received an unusual phone call in July 2021. Plumbers at a home in this multi-unit complex came to fix a leaking toilet but spotted bags of cash and suspicious crystals, in plain view, in an open cupboard. The seizure was as impressive as it was easy, although it still hasn’t led to an arrest. To help boost their investigation, police are asking for the public’s help. Investigators released video of a man they want to speak with. He was seen walking past the unit on Minter Street in Canterbury a few hours after the workers called police. Real estate and rental listings for units in this building describes it as a well-maintained building in a family friendly neighborhood. At least some units come with an oversized garage with automatic garage door. There are 19 apartments and one townhouse, about half-and-half in terms of owner occupied and rental.
