Description: The elderly owner/operator of a small-town laundromat is caught off guard when his concerned wife learns of their troubling financial predicament. This film was created over a period of about 4 months, and featured a large cast and many locations. It is both our first foray into narrative drama, and also our first attempt at a longer short film. The story line is fictional, but the spirit and themes are very much derived from the cast themselves, whom we share close family ties with. Alexander Halyk, the lead actor and Luke's grandfather, had 2 strokes during production, but recovered and insisted he would finish the project. For this reason, we dedicate the film to him.
