Description: Last-Minute Exam Tips Part 1. Here’s what to do the night before your exam. One: Stop studying 12-18 hours before your scheduled test time. If you spend all of your mental energy cramming until the last minute, you’re bound to gas out come exam time. Two: Prepare everything you need ahead of time. Anything you can do the night before to ease friction on exam day will conserve mental energy which you can then put towards your exam. Three, and this is the most important one. Get. Enough. Sleep. Sleep deprivation has been shown to decrease attention and cognitive function which nobody wants on exam day. The best thing you can do for yourself is prioritize your sleep.
