Description: I made a last minute trip down to Iowa on the 22nd of October to see the QJ one final time before the locomotive's 1472 was up. Although this wasn't the official last excursion (that wouldn't happen until the next day), it was the last time I would be able to film the locomotive in operation. A bit of a farewell video to the locomotive if you will. In this video we will chase the train from it's home base in Newton to South Amana yard on the Iowa Interstate Railroad, and then back to Newton again. From what I've been told, the locomotive will run again, just not for a while due to the rebuilding process. Thanks to the 6988 crew and Iowa Interstate for making this happen!
