Description: Cat Shines Guide: mariopartylegacy.com/super-mario-3d-world/guides/cat-shines Lake Lapcat consists of all three main areas. Scattered about these areas are additional Cat Shines that aren’t counted as part of the total of a specific island. A lot of these one-offs will only appear after a certain Cat Shine is collected or Fury Bowser is defeated a specific number of times. There’s also several Cat Shines that only appear post-game after the credits roll. Any deaths or sections waiting for Bowser to awaken were edited out. It all takes place at Lake Lapcat, a vast open-world area filled with different island, each home to a different number of Cat Shines. Mario is free to roam around these areas as he collects Cat Shines and unlocks additional islands to explore. The Super Bell is the main power-up here and Plessie can be used to travel from island to island.
