Ah, so got some bad news for you friend. That's.. that's not really a song. It's just some sound effects and a guitar riff thrown together. {Q} What happened at 2:45? [A]. Oh.. you noticed that little awkward pause between buttons? If you must know.. a squirrel ran by the window. Had to sneak a peak. {Q} What's that? [A]. This my friend is a launchpad, basically a big Midi pad. Each button corresponds with a sound from a song (typically 0.5 - 3 seconds long), as well as its own light pattern. I'll have a video explaining it more in depth up soon in the future. {Q} When's your next cover coming out? [A]. I just put this one out as a buffer because I need some more time to work on the project file i'm currently working on! Enjoy this for now and I'll have that new one out soon, subscribe so you can be notified when it does! {Q} Is your name pronounced pro-dig or.. [A]. Stop just stop. Sound it out! Prod-i-G. It's pronounced prodigy. Not pro-dig. {Q} How do I know you didn't just put Kaskobi's audio over your video? [A]. Well if you played them side by side they would be dramatically different. But an easy way to tell is because I play a different drum line, because I think mine sounds better. ;) {Q} If this isn't fake why can't I hear the click of the buttons? [A]. Well if I did that it would just get annoying. I record the audio from the launchpad straight to my computer through Ableton, then edit the audio to match the buttons I press. I create the audio. The performance is live, I do it for sound quality. {Q} If this is real why is the timing off? [A]. Well that's just an insult to my editing skill. As mentioned in the previous question I record the live launchpad audio onto my laptop, then put it on top of the live launchpad video of the lights. So if the timing seems off to you.. I guess you can blame my poor editing? But congratulations for killing my self confidence. [Q] What's the meaning of life? [A].
