Description: This video features the world's shortest disagreement between Mariah, the wolf, and her pack mates Callie and Tonk. I also obviously helped immensely by saying "shh" :'-) Callie, Mariah, and Tonk are one of our strangest packs. Mariah is a pure wolf, whereas Callie is a dog and Tonk is a low content wolfdog. Typically, female wolves are less tolerant of other female canines after puberty, but Mariah is entirely submissive and adoring of Callie. Callie and Tonk are related, although we're not sure how, and are both "Native American Indian Dogs" or NAID's. We had 6 NAID's in our sanctuary, and they unfortunately all were incredibly skittish. Callie, Tonk, and Mariah are all seniors, ranging in age from 12-14. Pure wolves tend to outlive dogs of similar size, but we're hoping all three will get to enjoy long, healthy lives together before they choose to cross the rainbow bridge.
