Description: Have you ever wanted to hear what Kendrick Lamar would sound like rapping over an iconic 80's song? Well over the past few days, a lot of people were able to experience exactly that thanks to a music producer by the name of Noah Charlick. Noah (also known as N04H on his Soundcloud) recently decided to create and upload an incredible mashup that features the vocals from Kendrick Lamar's "Backseat Freestyle" placed over the famous instrumental of the 1985 hit "Take On Me" by A-ha. I enjoyed listening to his mashup so much, that I decided to take his idea and put my own personal spin on it. In this version, the vocals from both songs can be heard and I also tweaked Take On Me's instrumental to better fit the structure of Backseat Freestyle. If you enjoy this video, please be sure to click the link below to listen to Noah's original version and show your support. Let me know what you guys think of this strange, yet satisfying genre clashing mashup down in the comments, and if you would like to see me make more mashups like this in the future!
