Description: ★Pastor John MacArthur of Grace Community Church, CA and the GCC Elders & Congregation are rising-up to “Take a Stand” against California Government overreach. During the Coronavirus pandemic CA Gov. Newsom ordered statewide closures of churches-- calling them "Non-Essential". After 21 weeks of NOT meeting as a Church, John MacArthur and the GCC Elders issue a statement on 7/24/2020: "A Biblical Case For the Church's Duty to Remain Open" saying too that "Christ, not Caesar, Is Head of the Church." John MacArthur explains some of this in an interview with Tucker Carlson of Fox News on 7/28/2020 (a segment in this video) where John MacArthur talks too about how his congregation was not buying-into the Government Lockdown narrative. Little by little church members every week came back to GCC on their own, and on July 26, 2020 (after the 7/24 statement above) there were approx. 3,000+ (of the approx.6,000-8,000) church members that showed up for church-- defying Government orders. Gov Gavin Newsom and LA Mayor Eric Garcetti have stated that church's that defy orders may face fines, and arrest for holding indoor services-- in fact $1,000 a day fines, and more.
