Description: What a song this is from Bon Iver! Masterful, cryptic, emotive and melodically beautiful (but you all know this already of course!) I don’t even remember how this version we made came about. We just used the melody and the chords as the basis for an improvisation and through that came up with a riff that echoes some of the production/soundscape sounds. I also had in my mind that extraordinary live session the band did at Air Studios on two pianos where they deconstructed their songs in totally new ways.
