Description: Jaime's displeasure of flying into the major airshows (Sun 'n Fun and AirVenture Oshkosh) has grown over the years. Unfortunately this one may have pushed her over the edge. We avoid holding IFR on the way down to Lakeland by inching closer and then canceling to go VFR down low in the bumps for the final leg. The Lake Parker Air Traffic Controllers threw us a curveball with the Winter Haven bit and the main tower at Lakeland lost their communications temporarily. Finally, a slower Cessna that was told to go to the skinny runway slid over and landed in front of us causing me to try to point right a little in the flare in case he slowed rapidly.
