Description: A nice treasure hunt in the woods with some unexpected finds. This trip started with a surprising discovery. A deep, almost out of reach signal turned into one of my most spectacular finds - a solid Roman bracelet (at least that's my assumption). A brief research seems to confirm it. Check out a similar item: finds.org.uk/database/artefacts/record/id/1038766 I would prefer to make a find like this at the end of a difficult hunt to feel a little bit more satisfaction. When something comes too easy, without effort, it isn't as rewarding as it "could" be. But hey, let's not complain... I moved on shortly after and made a few more nice finds. The highlight was probably a 1700's wind cap from a tobacco pipe, which cleaned up nicely. A second cap was flat. A boar must have stepped on it :). I also found a 1800's buckle and a silver coin from the same time period, but why am I writing it, if you saw the video. I would like to mention something about the "window lead". It wasn't the first time I found it. I didn't know what it was, I always thought it must be some sort of a strange industrial piece, until I saw the following video, which finally solved the mystery: youtube.com/watch?v=5IVpIaf95Pk I haven't opened my piece yet... I hope you enjoyed this hunt, despite all the noise caused by U.S. Air Force planes.
