From XRP to XVG (no kidding), promising altcoins like Ontology, Zilliqa, Nano, VeChain and more saw incredible gains. Alongside this little pump is the ongoing discussion of a Bitcoin ETF, and all the fun that comes with it. The SEC has delayed their response and they could continue delaying until March, there is no guarentee we will see a Bitcoin ETF even in 2019, so hold your horses on that idea. In the meantime, with other products like Bakked and various institutional products becoming available, the Wall Street giants will inevitably begin to participate in this market. Begging the question, what would Satoshi Nakamoto do? Will Wall Street types dominate and restrain this market from its full potential? Will the market as we currently know it cease to exist? Is this the right and natural course for this space? There are more questions than answers, and it's gearing up for a crazy close to 2018. Will we continue in this current low market valuation for the rest of the year or is a big run in the works? Time will tell. When will the bull run everyone's been talking about since February happen? This Year? Many Hardcore Cryptocurrency investors believe in the longevity of this market, believe that through all the ups and downs in the market, despite what the mainstream media says, and regardless of how controversial it may be, that cryptocurrency and blockchain technology are the change society has been yearning for. Recently the SEC has ruled that Bitcoin and Ethereum are not securities, and it got many discussing the rest of the cryptocurrency market and what is a security. Along with Ripple and XRP's continued distinction, and Ripple now having an executive on a Task Force for the Federal Reserve it's really looking promising for Brad Garlinghouse et al.
