Description: The grand exchange tax has been in oldschool runescape for a couple of months now. Today I wanted to discuss how effective it has been. I will be looking at the item sink component, as well as the actual gold sink. Back in december jagex added in a 1% tax on most items traded through the grand exchange. This is split into straight gold removed from the game, as a well as in game items. I am going to be going over roughly how much gold is being removed, and the value of the item sink.
