Netflix has recently had to raise prices, and recently announced they have over 100 Millions users Worldwide who are piggybacking off friends and families accounts, sharing passwords and not paying for their services so they're planning a crackdown on that. And this all comes at a time when Netflix has more competition than ever from Hulu, Disney+, and a number of other services from television networks like Showtime, HBOMax and others. It also seems like people in general are souring on Netflix as a service with some claiming Netflix is going woke and turning them off with the tone of their content.
