Everyone else is free to select any hero they want to play and that hero will act as a “pokemon” in a dead state. Both Mercy players can then call upon a pokemon by resurrecting them. Both pokemon face off and this repeats until one sides pokemon are all dead. There are a couple things to note here: - Stats are adjusted per hero to be more fair - A pokemon doesn’t heal when the enemy selects a new one. Their health remains the same unless they use a healing ability, similar to real pokemon. - The first two games we forced the Grandmasters to play as trainers but for the last game we let two golds take their place so the Grandmasters can have a chance to play both roles.
