Description: Mandi's aviary and batty population continues to supply new delights. She got a donation of 5 kgs of guava from someone's tree, so the bats got to try a new fruit which is usually far to expensive to even consider as part of their diet. Of course, the batties give good value with their antics and investigation of the new taste sensation. The beginning shows Mr Irene being Poppified by a very persistent Poppy, who wanted to get into his face and kiss him. A very pregnant Jackie (Meep's concubine), shows off and flaps. Poppy transfers her attention to Irene and the camera as she photobombs persistently. Florentine and Serendipity sample the guava with obvious relish. Whiskey joins the fruit fest. Meep gets offered a piece and is happy to eat it if Mandi is holding it, but refuses to grab it and hold it, so someone opportunistically comes in and steals it from him. Hazel grabs and guards her piece, successfully fending off Divabelle who tried a sneak attack on her prize. Gimley takes his piece neatly, but of course Poppy has to be in on the action and tries to steal his piece, involving fisticuffs at 2 paces... Pregnant Jackie takes her piece daintily but drops it when Whiskey tries to steal it. Hazel finds a safe corner to enjoy her prize. Gelert eats the guava but not with a great deal of enthusiasm. Teddy isn't a big fan but he does have some; he's more a fish fingers and chips cuisine guy, only translated into a fructivorous diet, which means apple pear grapes banana mango pawpaw and fig - nothing fancy for our Teddy. When offered dragon fruit he kept turning his mouth away. Nobody liked the dragonfruit (also very expensive). Gelert does some grooming in the sun. Namaste has a test flight in the aviary. Florentine has her mango seed stolen by Whiskey, and Meep tells Mandi he wants his own fruit juice bottle. Thanks Mandi for the footage.
