Description: It’s nice when you see Government agencies really listening to feedback, and making changes and improvements that everyone can see and feel. In this video, we’ll look at several improvements on EDSA. - Solar Road Studs - originally we saw these green solar road studs for the bicycle lane. But now you’ll see white studs being used as lane dividers and early warnings for splits - Street lighting - these are solar powered street lights that have been rapidly deployed along EDSA, lighting the road, sidewalk and even the bus lane - LED Barriers - Improved visibility for barriers, with solar powered LED lights - Footbridge roofs, lights and CCTV - making the footbridges more user friendly and safer for commuters and pedestrians in general. Update: As per one company that supplies and installs solar studs for DPWH projects, the ~P9000 unit price INCLUDES installation. But depending on the location of the project, the price can increase. I believe this would be listed as an indirect cost, explaining why some projects reached a higher unit price.
