Description: HIRING: A Badass Video Editor/Storyteller to join the Sky Life Team! DEADLINE: JUNE 11, 2021 @ 11:11 PM PST (2 WEEKS FROM NOW) Are you THIS human?! - You are a talented storyteller & video editor with a passion for the Sky Life mission and creating conscious media that can GO VIRAL on YouTube & social media. - You have an interest and knowledge in wellness, spirituality, and alternative lifestyle and love telling stories about these topics. - You are highly organized, reliable, and able to edit videos on a fast-paced timeline. - You are highly skilled in Adobe Premiere Pro (& AfterEffects is a major bonus!) - You want to be a part of the core team that takes Sky Life to the next level. Skillz required: - A creative storyteller who understands YouTube editing style - Highly organized project & file management - Fantastic time management and ability to meet fast deadlines - Hunger to learn, improve, apply feedback & become an even better editor - Passion for telling meaningful stories that shift global consciousness How to apply: 1) Create and edit a video (must be edited fully on your own) that shows your skills as a storyteller and video editor. You can do whatever you want but it must be a specific video to apply for this position. (Please don't just send us a reel) This is a requirement to be considered. Think about what kind of video might appear on Sky Life and make something that shows us that YOU are the perfect fit for this. Show us what you got :) 2) Post an unlisted video on YouTube that has “Sky Life Editor Application” somewhere in the title. Email us the link of that video to skylifehiring@gmail.com & in that same email send us a link to the rest of your work (your YouTube, Vimeo, Website, etc.) Structure your email like this: Subject line: Editor Application: (First Name, Last Name) “Hi my name is ____ I am ___ years old and currently live in (city, state, country). I (can/cannot) work in the US. Here is the link to my video application: (link) Here is the link to my previous work: (link) I want to join the Sky Life team because… (6 sentences max) Thank you, (Name)” My team and I will be reviewing these applications and whoever catches our attention will be hearing from us to move onto the next round.
