Today im getting honest and opening up about a betrayal I recently experienced and how it has devastated me. I've been very vulnerable and open about this journey of separating and loss since I started over in January and began living alone after my 6 year marriage began to fall apart. You have seen me through the tears and when I couldn't get out of bed--but you also saw hope and the journey of how I began to piece my life together again and rebuild my life. Of course, there are elements of the story you don't know, as you'll see in this video. There were also things that I didn't know which left me feeling betrayed, replaced and incredibly hurt. I know this kind of vulnerability isn't for everyone, but I feel like we are all humans doing our best in the world, and this is how I want to exist online. I want to feel what's real, and share my real life struggles with you. I think by sharing and being generous about our experiences (especially our pain), we can stop perpetuating the idea that life is always perfect and ultimately help each other feel less alone.
