In this episode, Rachel describes: ❤️🩹 at 37 weeks pregnant, being told to go home after bringing up concerns to multiple doctors, only to later find that her son no longer had a heartbeat ❤️🩹 the neglect and lack of consent and compassion she endured at every phase of her 30-hour labor ❤️🩹 getting through it all just to be able to hold her stillborn son, Jameson, in her arms and begin the journey of honoring the life he would never live ❤️🩹 how, despite the trauma of her first birth and postpartum experience, Rachel found the bravery to become pregnant again and birth her daughter, Daisy, and her second son, August, both of whom have healed her in ways she never thought possible Rachel refuses to give into the societal shame around discussing stillbirth and infant death, and will never stop celebrating the spirit and eternal gift that her first son, Jameson, continues to bring to her family. If you want to raise awareness about this taboo issue and help people who have experienced it feel less alone, share this video and throw your arms around Rachel’s bravery by leaving some hugs in the comments.
