Description: A great episode with unexpected finds and another investigation. Usually the last thing you expect to find in a "normal area" is a Roman coin. But this was the first good target I was confronted with. The tiny coin changed my approach and "forced" me to investigate this small spot. You saw what happened next... Four tiny Roman coins in total and a "linchpin" that indicates the presence of a wagon. The depth of all the coins was shallow, some were even mixed with leaves, which was strange, but something I already witnessed in other places. What happened here? Did a wagon brake down? Romans jumped out, tried to fix it - that's when small coins fell out of their "pockets", pouches or whatever? Hmm... The woods are full of mysterious stories.
