It's part Veloster, part race car, part secret project. "RM" has been the name for a number of cars built by Hyundai's skunk works engineers. The clever differential in the new 2022 Hyundai Elantra N was developed in the RM16. Hyundai's own DCT was tested in the 390-horsepower RM19 (watch Matt drive that car: youtube.com/watch?v=s29kr7qAiuw ). The powertrain was developed alongside Rimac, the name synonymous with 2,000HP electric hypercars and most recently, Bugatti. If Rimac is involved, you know the car will be powerful and functional.
