Bethany McHugh, 25, and her husband Alex were about to tuck into their dessert at the end of their four-course dinner at Freycinet Lodge in Coles Bay, Tasmania when the waitress told them about a possum that usually likes to come out to try and score some leftovers. When the possum showed up, he climbed straight onto their table and began sniffing their dessert. The couple rushed to collect the plates while Alex continued to eat his cheesecake to stop the possum from stealing any of it.
