Description: This is my playthrough & commentary of the GoldenEye 007 XBLA remake, noting differences, changes, and the impact of this game on the long history of GoldenEye 007 speedrunning for Nintendo 64. The GoldenEye007 Xbox Live Arcade remake has LEAKED online recently! A truly unbelievable and stunning turn of events. Many knew that Rare were working on a 10th anniversary remaster of GoldenEye 007 for the XBLA (Xbox Live Arcade), but it never made it to market, due to various legal nonsense around the licenses of the James Bond character. However, stunningly, a leaked version of the game made it online, which is mostly completed... and it looks amazing! In this video, we analyze this incredible gaming moment, examine changes from the original N64 version of GoldenEye, discuss whether this will change everything about speedrunning GoldenEye, and explain some of the techniques & strategies that may need to be altered to achieve incredible records.
