Description: Are you Working from Home? WFH is very challenging. We’ve been working remotely for several months now, and it’s not easy! We share what we’ve learned so far about how to work from home effectively, and how to avoid some common pitfalls including: loneliness, problems staying focused, and getting sore from sitting so much! You may be beating yourself up about not being very productive. Our first piece of advice is to BE KIND to yourself! This is a very strange situation we all find ourselves in, and it’s going to take some time to adjust. Hopefully we will learn some important lessons about how to better balance our work and home life that will make all of our lives better, even after we go back to the office and school. Do you find yourself getting distracted? We’ll give you some practical advice about how to stay focused. The best method we know for this is the Pomodoro Technique. We made a video all about it. Try it!! bit.ly/PomodoroSocratica It can be very challenging to keep your work life and home life separate when you’re working from home. Find a quiet place in your house to claim as your work spot. Every time you sit down in your special spot, you’ll be ready to work. We have a video to help you get your desk organized: bit.ly/Organize_Desk If you have to suddenly take classes online, you might find our video about distance learning helpful: bit.ly/Classes_Online We dedicate this video to our Patrons on Patreon!
