Fast-talking English speakers often connect words and delete or change sounds when speaking natural pace - so what you *expect* to hear and what you *do* hear can be quite different! In this video, I talk about fast speech and how to sound more like a native English speaker. Remember, fast speech isn't really about speaking "quickly"... but it may sound very quick to you since you are a non-native English speaker. Fast speech simply refers to the way native English speakers change and eliminate sounds as they speak normal, everyday English. If you are trying to sound more like a native speaker with an American English accent, I give lots of examples in this video to make you aware of what to listen for. Finally, learning pronunciation by reading how words are spelled is VERY confusing because English is not a phonetic language. So, the best way to learn pronunciation is to listen carefully and imitate what you hear. #FastEnglish #EnglishLesson #GoNaturalEnglish 👇👇👇WATCH these English lesson playlists NEXT👇👇👇 (1) American English Accent Training: youtube.com/playlist?list=PLDmyXXns94k3WgnwA1xdNSJKNtQGS8eko (2) Strategies to Learn to Speak English Fluently: youtube.com/playlist?list=PLDmyXXns94k1b7Jop9kEcwFqdLfKPTBoz About Go Natural English: In regular English classes, you learn English grammar and English vocabulary, and in our English speaking lessons, you'll learn English the Go Natural English way - with advice to help you speak English like a native, with real English conversation and listening practice.
