Description: In this tutorial video we will be replacing the old fabric on a two-piece sling chair. This sling chair includes spline cording that runs in channels, but the spline cording is also secured with rivets. The rivets can be difficult to remove, but we will show you an easy way to remove them. A typical sling chair fabric replacement consists of a single rectangular panel. This sling chair's seat is a trapezoid shape. This requires some simple calculations to measure for the new sling fabric. The seat back is slightly curved along the bottom, which requires some patterning. As with all Sailrite videos we will show you the proper steps to get your next DIY project done right.
