Description: How to replace the rear edge on your Dyson cordless vacuum's Torque Drive cleaner head. The cleaner head rear edge has been engineered and tested to last the lifetime of your machine in normal domestic use. However if you ever need to replace the rear edge - for example, due to accidental damage - this is quick and easy to do, simply follow the steps in our video guide. Step 1. Remove the wand from the cleaner head by pressing the red release button on the neck of the cleaner head. Step 2. Place the cleaner head onto a soft surface, such as a cushion. Step 3. Use a small posi-drive or Phillips screwdriver to remove the two screws securing the plastic tabs at either end of the rear of the cleaner head. Step 4. Remove the two plastic tabs. Step 5. Pull down the rubber rear edge to reveal the four screws securing it to the cleaner head. Step 6. Remove the four screws. Step 7. Slide the rear edge off the cleaner head and dispose of all parts as per local codes and regulations. Step 8. Unbox the new parts and slide the plastic tabs onto the new rubber rear edge. Step 9. Slide the new rear edge onto the cleaner head and secure in place with the four new screws. Step 10. Locate the two new plastic tabs into position and secure in place with the two new screws.
