Description: How to replace the main body and cyclone on your Dyson V12 Detect™, Dyson V12 Slim or Dyson Digital Slim cord-free vacuum The main body and cyclone are engineered and tested to last the lifetime of your machine in normal domestic use. However if you happen to need to replace them - for example, due to accidental damage - this is quick and easy to do. Just follow the steps shown in our video guide. Always ensure you disconnect your machine from the charger cord before carrying out any maintenance. Step 1. Empty the clear bin. Step 2. Press the red bin release button and slide the bin off the main body. Step 3. Remove the filter by twisting anti-clockwise and gently pulling away. Leave to one side. Step 4. Remove the battery by pressing the red battery release button. Keep the battery to one side. Step 5. Dispose of any parts in accordance with local codes and regulations. Step 6.
