All 3 ways will get the job done, however one of them makes more sense than the others. Pressing them into the hub will be the safest, hitting them in will be the cheapest, however pulling them through takes the least amount of time with the least amount of effort. In this video, I show you I swapped over the short wheel studs on my Nissan 370Z for some ARP extended studs, without destroying lug nuts, without using any shop grade tools, while outlining the entire process with torque specs and the tools/parts used.
