Software: Photoshop / Clip Studio Paint / Procreate for Painting ▶What Screen Protector Do you use? Screen Protector: I use the Paperlike Matte Screen Protector. ▶What canvas size do you use? Usually nothing less than 6k pixels on one side, and always 300 dpi. ▶Why do you paint in pink? For a variety of reasons. It helps me feel like my sketches are less messy, keeps me from going too dark in values for when I want to start adding details, and it makes me take things less seriously. Its also just my thing xD. ▶When did you start drawing? I started tracing things as a child and moved to origami. Then I got some anime/manga books and eventually got my first realistic drawing book. I was hooked onto drawing hyperrealistic portraits in pencil on paper with the grid method. I got my first drawing tablet in 2014 and never looked back. My last serious traditional piece was a half finished drawing of Daenerys Targaryen. ▶How do you deal with artblock? I find most people dealing with artblock are actually just scared of failing, or hate the feeling of drawing something that 'isn't' good. I think every artist needs to take some time to think about why they want to make art, and learn to appreciate the process. Everyone says "if i could draw like that I'd draw all the time" but guess what? Drawing all the time is exactly what it takes to draw like that person. Every small child loves drawing even if it isn't that great...then it all changes. What happened to us? Thats up to you to solve for yourself. Livestream
