Description: A custom-made subwoofer enclosure for a Toyota Hiace Commuter van's under seat placement. Equipped with a beefy Lightning Lab WD-8D2, a 300w RMS 8 inch dual 2 Ohm subwoofer with a peak power rating of 600w! And that beast is powered also by a Lightning Lab CL1000.1D 1000w RMS Class D circuit mono-block amplifier. This project is a bit a challenge because full-size subwoofers are intended to be installed into boxes having enough room for a right-side up or front facing orientation. So I managed to have it doable by facing it downwards. Also to save a lot of space, the client wanted the amplifier to have embedded within the enclosure.
