Description: In this video I make a set of monkey bars from some 175mm X 175mm tanalised gate posts, that are 2.75M long. For the monkey bars themselves I used some 20mm stainless steel round bar, which was scrap metal shafts from some old conveyor wheels that I removed from a factory. You can use your imagination for your steel bars, perhaps some 20mm mild steel, or some re-bar (not sure if that will work or not). This is a very heavy unit, once it is assembled, so it will definitely take 2 people to lift it up. If you are wondering why, I chose such large pieces of timber, it is because they were the only timbers I could get that were long enough from my local supplier - foxtimber.co.uk This is the first video in a set of three, the other videos will be uploaded in the next few weeks.
