Description: Have you ever wondered how to make a fake egg? Me neither, but let’s do it. The only goal was to make something that looked as close as possible to an egg but wasn’t an egg. What I was able to make after a few trials and tribulations wasn’t too bad in my opinion. For this, I thought it would be easiest to make a hard-boiled type egg. Along the process of trying to perfect this, I accidentally found out how to make a fried egg as well, but we’ll get into that a little bit later. The recipe I am going for will have some gelatin in it, but honestly, I don’t think this is a hard requirement, I am pretty sure you could use agar and end up with a vegan f-egg. ============= Ingredients ================== I found it easiest to use cups. If you want to make a gummy style candy, here is the ratio: 1.33 cups of liquid to 2 oz (56 g) of powdered gelatin. For this specific recipe: .33 cups water 2 oz (56g) gelatin 1 cup milk Tumeric 4 tablespoons of powdered sugar
