Category: Howto & Style
Description: This little mouse was easy and fast to make. My little mouse gave me an excuse to use the "bun foot" that I found in the closet. It's also a great project for showing you how to use a cardboard pattern inside a really small sculpture. I think it may be faster to make an armature with a pattern inside, like I did this time, instead of with wire. Try making it this way and let me know what you think. (I used wire armatures inside all the tiny dogs in my tiny dog book, so that method works, too. :) ) Check out my daughter's online oil painting classes here: jessierasche.com/jonni If you want to use my free pattern and see screen shots showing how to make your own paper mache mouse, go here: ultimatepapermache.com/mouse Folk Art Bunny Video: youtu.be/3-R7N7N6ieM Recipe for raw flour and water paste: youtu.be/kOKGn86NW8U Adding Paper Strips and Paste: youtu.be/sjllW9Xpkow My Books About Sculpting: Fast Faces - Unleash Your Creativity... amzn.to/2DSNXfG Make Animal Sculptures: amzn.to/1nMUO3a How to Make Masks: amzn.to/2obUDmq Make Tiny Paper Mache Dogs: amzn.to/1KXd9zg Video Chapters: 1:00 - Intro 1:58 - Jessie's new online painting workshops 2:38 - The pattern for the tiny paper mache mouse 3:47 - Rounding out the body with crumpled paper 6:03 - Adding one layer of paper mache 7:11 - Sanding the mouse (optional) 7:35 - Painting the mouse 8:48 - Finishing the paper mache mouse 9:48 - Outro Come visit me at UltimatePaperMache.com DISCLAIMER: This description may contain affiliate links.
