Description: I show how to make a cube using only matchsticks and some elastic bands. The elastic bands are to keep it together while making it and when it is finished it doesn’t need them. This is an updated version of my older video about making a match cube. I made the important parts in normal speed so it should be much easier to follow. After you wrap the matches in the elastic band it’s just about repeating the same pattern until you can’t add anymore matches. It took about 270 matches that are 5.5 cm long. Your match cube may need more or less matches depending on the length of them. Once you get the first few steps down it becomes pretty easy. This does not really have any practical purpose just an interesting way to store or display your matches. It is made without any glue or tape, just interlocking matches.
