Building a new intro is one of my ABSOLUTE favourite things about kicking off a new year. I’ve received a lot of comments on my new intros throughout the years and also a lot of questions from you on how to build a good intro. So today I thought it was about time I cook up a little video about it. In this After Effects tutorial I show you how to build a spicy YouTube intro for yourself using Adobe After Effects. I walk you through an example from start to finish so that you can follow along and then take these techniques and maybe apply some of them to footage that is relevant to you and your channel. I also talk about what ingredients I think make for a good YouTube video intro and give you some things to think about and consider when you are making yours.
