In this video, I will be showing you how to run your stream on a VPS (Virtual Private Server) and how to set up a back-up server. These are two very common questions I've been getting recently. UPDATE FROM OHBUBBLE (November 20th, 2019) UPDATE FROM OHBUBBLE: (November 20th, 2019) 1. Our servers are not VPS's (Virtual Machines). They are dedicated servers(Not virtualized). The only plan that is an actual VPS is Platinum and that's soon going to be changed to a Dedicated Server. This might change in the future as we explore new ways to bring costs down for the customers but due to the fact that these are dedicated machines, there has to be some waiting time as we set them up for customer use. This is a common thing with dedicated server hosting companies. Some hosting companies have the resources to provide instant deployment via expensive hardware, but most still have to physically set them up per order. 2. None of our current plans exceed 2 weeks for deployment anymore. The only one that potentially reaches this mark, is our Gold plan but that only tops up to 10 days and never goes above that. This is simply due to high demand and should be brought down to 1-5 days within the upcoming months. For reference, the current wait times are 1-4 days for Sapphire (Usually deploys within 2 days), 1-3 Days for Diamond, and 48 hours for Platinum. The Gold plan is currently 1-10 days. 3. Our support team is no longer difficult to contact. Most of the customers who've worked with us within the last 4-5 months have noticed very fast support times. We usually reply to each inquiry within a few minutes (Literally 5-10 minutes) while we're at the office. When no one is at the office, they usually get a reply the following day at the latest. We've noticed how crucial it is for a hosting company that provides live streaming servers to be able to provide almost instant support to their customers. And that's what we've been focusing on for a while now. 4. While current prices are a bit on the pricey side, we understand that not everyone is able to afford our prices. This is largely due to the limited resources we presently have available. However, with our new Alpha servers, we will be able to significantly lower the price of each plan by up to 60%. This will help anyone who's budget, cannot reach our current pricing. It will also help with the confusion of having to choose between 4 different plans when 1 single server, can meet the requirements of all the plans we have on our site. These new servers are being tested to also include 4k streaming at 30fps. We will be introducing them next year.
