Description: Growing Potatoes in Containers. Using the 30 litre containers as always with lots of drainage holes this is half filled with compost and a little organic fertilizer is added. Then 3 seed potatoes for early varieties and 2 for maincrops are placed a couple of inches from the bottom. The container is then filled up with more compost and placed in a shallow trench in the bed and soil is back filled to cover the container holes.
