Description: ***NOTE - PHP is not required for this project to work*** I want the web. I want the whole web. I want to lock it all up in my pocket, IT'S MY BAR OF CHOCOLATE...that sounds like a song. The last project I did was creating a portable offline hotspot media server, which is a great way to stay entertained if you lose connection to the internet. But let's ratchet that hotspot up a notch by adding internet! But not online internet...offline internet. Make sense? What I'll show you how to do is download entire websites and save them to your hotspot so that you can still view them if you loose your internet connection. Sounds crazy, I know, but it's really cool. _____________________________ π²πππ² IMPORTANT LINKS π²πππ² ______________________ Wget - gnu.org/software/wget/manual/wget.html Darcy Ripper - darcyripper.com HTTrack - httrack.com COMMANDS sudo apt-get update sudo apt-get install lighttpd sudo apt-get install php7.0-fpm wget -m -k -E -p -np -U "Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Ubuntu; Linux x86_64; rv:11.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/11.0" -w 3 --limit-rate=35k YOURSITE.COM -P /var/www/html _____________________________ π°π°π°π° SUPPORT THE SHOW π°π°π°π° ______________________ tinkernut.com/donate _____________________________ π€π‘π€π‘ SUBMIT YOUR IDEAS π€π‘π€π‘ ______________________ tinkernut.com/ideas ____________________________ π’π’π’π’ Follow π’π’π’π’ ____________________________ redd.it/5o3tp8 instagram.com twitter.com/tinkernut facebook.com/tinkernut
